SPOKANE, Wash. & AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ecova, the total energy and sustainability management company that is also a leader in telecom expense management, and mindWireless, a Texas-based enterprise mobility management services provider, announced that together, they save companies over six percent of total telecom spend. Since the partnership began in 2008, mindWireless and Ecova have saved wireless telecom clients approximately $10 per mobile line per month. This partnership leverages mindWireless’ telecom expertise and Ecova’s expense management expertise to assist clients in providing their internal and external stakeholders with superior network management capability and reduced telecom costs.

The Ecova and mindWireless solution addresses the main operational needs of both wireline and wireless networks. Greater visibility into device inventory and contracts is provided through the Expense Management and Service Order Management services. At the same time, Procurement and Enrollment, and Help Desk solutions assist companies in better managing contracts and the automated procurement process. These solutions also help companies understand and plan their telecom demand, capacity and requirements to accurately meet the needs of the business.

“The progress of real-time data visibility and cost savings into every aspect of business is not a concept – it’s happening now,” said Kevin Whitehurst, co-CEO at mindWireless. “And it’s not just in telecom. Every aspect of business can be automated and optimized through robotic software automation managing accounts payable functions to the management of mobile phone devices and service plans. We’re working with Ecova to achieve maximum insight and cost savings for telecom clients, and we know that the expertise we offer will provide Ecova customers with even more cost savings and data efficiency.”

The telecom efficiency of mindWireless integrated with Ecova expense management experts saves companies even more time and money using data and analytics to drive efficiencies in the telecom space.

Over the past two years (2013-2014) Ecova identified over $1.6 billion in resource savings for clients across their entire suite of services, and the partnership with mindWireless plays a significant role in identifying telecom cost savings.

“mindWireless negotiates everything for our clients within the mobile space – from wireless minutes to devices – and finds the right device and plan for the right person within his or her company role,” said Bob Zak, senior vice president of facility solutions for Ecova. “mindWireless takes it one step further for us, and we couldn’t be more excited about our future together as partners in the telecom space.”
