Austin, TX: mindWireless is now certified by the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework enabling export of European wireless call data to the U.S. for telecommunication optimization and analysis. This enhances the firm’s capability to provide full life-cycle telecommunications management services for its clients operating within the European Union (EU).“This certification lifts the employee privacy restrictions for exporting phone records tied to an individual working in Europe,” said David Wise, co-founder and co-CEO of mindWireless. “With our U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework certification, mindWireless is identified as offering adequate privacy protection to export our client’s call information for their corporate liable users working throughout the EU.”

The U.S. Department of Commerce in consultation with the European Commission developed the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework, approved by the EU in 2000. Self-certifying to the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework let EU organizations know that a business provides “adequate” privacy protection, as defined by the Framework.
